Requirements FAA (14 CFR § 61.65)
- Hold at least a Private Pilot Certificate.
- 50 hrs PIC cross-country + 40 hrs instrument time.
- One IFR cross-country of at least 250 nm.
- Written test + Checkride with IFR approaches, holding, and emergencies.
CURRENCY NOTE
Currency: 6 approaches + holding every 6 months. If lapsed → IPC required.
