Private Pilot License (PPL)

Certification Overview

Private Pilot License (PPL)

The Private Pilot License (PPL) is one of the most recognized and respected certifications in aviation, issued by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It represents a major milestone for those who wish to fly for personal or recreational purposes, offering the freedom to explore the skies and the knowledge to do so safely and responsibly.

Holding a PPL allows pilots to operate single-engine aircraft and carry passengers for non-commercial use — whether for weekend getaways, family trips, or pure enjoyment of flight. It’s a perfect balance between personal freedom and professional-level training.
